How It Works
It takes about two minutes. Click the WhatsApp button, send us your video, and tell us what you're looking for. No forms, no callbacks, no waiting. A straightforward conversation with someone who knows floor fitting.
What to Send Us
- A walkthrough video of the rooms. Walk through each room that needs flooring with the camera pointing down. Show us the existing floor, the condition of the subfloor if it's exposed, and any obvious issues. Phone camera is perfect.
- The doorways and transitions. Where does the new floor meet a different surface? Steps down into a room? An existing threshold? Show us those details — they affect the price.
- Any existing flooring being removed. If there's carpet, tiles, or old laminate coming up, a quick look at that helps us factor in prep time.
- Rough room dimensions, if you have them. Even "about 4 by 5 metres" works. We can also estimate from footage.
- What you'd like fitted. Engineered wood, parquet, herringbone, chevron, LVT? Tell us what you have in mind or ask for advice — either works.
What Happens Next
One of our fitters reviews your video properly and puts together an estimate based on what they see: the room sizes, subfloor condition, layout pattern, and materials you've chosen. On weekdays you'll have a price back within 24 hours — often the same afternoon.
If we need to clarify anything we'll message you back on WhatsApp. No phone tag, no chasing. For straightforward installations the WhatsApp estimate will be close to the final price. For larger or more complex jobs we may recommend a quick site visit, but you'll know the ballpark first.

Tips for a Good Video
- Landscape mode. Hold the phone sideways for a wider view of each room.
- Walk slowly. Slow and steady gives us the detail we need. A quick sweep often misses the things that affect price.
- Show the edges and doorways. Skirting boards, thresholds, and room transitions are where the tricky parts are. Pan to the edges so we can see them clearly.
- Show the subfloor if visible. If the existing floor is already up or you can lift a corner, a quick look at the subfloor is very useful.
- Natural light helps. Open the curtains — daylight shows the floor better than overhead lights.
About Our Estimates
A video estimate is not the same as measuring with a laser. But we've fitted hundreds of floors across London and we can read a room from footage. Our WhatsApp estimates typically come within 10% of the final on-site price. For standard rectangular rooms with a straightforward lay pattern, it's usually spot-on.
If there's a meaningful difference after we visit, we'll explain exactly why before any work starts. No surprises.
